HARRIS GUEVARRA graduated from De La Salle University-Manila where he served as the editor-in-chief of Malate Literary Folio, the official literary publication of DLSU. His poems and articles have been published in Sunday Inquirer Magazine, Oragon Journal, High Chair Online Poetry Journal, EuroFilipino Journal and Balikbayan/Asian Journal Magazine to name a few. He was a fellow in some of the major creative writing workshops in the country. He also worked for GMA Network as a multi-media copywriter. His television commercials won prestigious awards here and abroad, including a gold medal–a first for the Philippines–from Singapore’s Apollo Awards.

Me and my grandmother, nanay Miling. I interviewed her about things past. I mean, really past and ancient, way back to pre-world war 2 era in the Philippines. This old lady got great memory.
